ResponsibilitiesSales Director (m/f/d), you will lead and inspire the team of composites Sales Manager in EMEA and serve as the main point of contact for the global product line team and other regional commercial team leaders.
Define and drive commercial strategies and profit targets by selling MCG composites intermediate materials through key markets, OEMs and Tier 1 & 2 customers to deliver on the business strategy for composites and profitable growth.
- Take ownership of P&L monitoring, reporting and profitability analysis, providing transparent financial insights that support sound commercial decisions.
- Develop, communicate, and implement an integrated regional composites business commercial strategy and roadmap focused on profitable growth.
- Support the development of pricing and go-to-market strategy with Sales and Global Product Line Management, establishing target pricing and margin frameworks that enable sustainable business performance.
- Lead sales process and system development concepts for improving customer experience and to increase efficiency levels.
- Monitor and report performance of commercial activities using key metrics and create short-term action plans when there is a gap to recover. Main KPIs:
Sales Revenue, Sales Volume, CM1, CM2/EBITDA/COI, pipeline, other - Work in close collaboration with Marketing & Communication on relevant content generation, channel exploration and lead nurturing.
- Master's degree in technical studies, like mechanical engineering, chemistry or any other relevant subject – combined with commercial experience.
- Proven commercial leadership experience combined with at least 5 years of operational or engineering exposure in composite technologies, preferably carbon fiber–based.
- Strong financial and analytical capability, with solid knowledge of performance reporting, forecasting, budgeting and portfolio management.
- Strategic and commercially minded, able to navigate ambiguity, negotiate effectively and shape customer and product portfolios to drive profitable growth.
- Excellent leadership, communication and intercultural skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders, influence decisions and resolve complex problems.
- Fluency in English (additional languages are an asset) and willingness to travel frequently within Europe and occasionally internationally.
