We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Heavy Construction Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and heavy equipment. This position requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to work with various tools and equipment. The Diesel Mechanic will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our fleet.
* Duties
* * Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and heavy construction equipment.
* Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
* Conduct brake repairs, tire service, and electrical system troubleshooting.
* Operate heavy equipment such as cranes and forklifts when necessary.
* Work on HVAC systems related to diesel machinery.
* Repair or replace shocks, struts, and other suspension components.
* Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs.
* Requirements
* * Proven experience as a Heavy Construction Diesel Mechanic or in a similar role.
* Strong knowledge of diesel engine components and systems.
* Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is preferred.
* Experience with HVAC systems is a plus.
* Proficiency in electrical diagnostics and repair.
* Ability to perform brake repair and tire service effectively.
* Certification as a Service Technician is advantageous.
* Must possess strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
