Salary: Commensurate with skills and experience plus TLR 2c (£8,611).

Department Information

We are looking to appoint an outstanding temporary Teacher of Geography for a suitably qualified candidate. The successful candidate will teach Geography up to GCSE alongside some KS3 RE and History. Experience teaching Geography is essential; experience in RE/History desirable. The department has two Geography specialists and offers strong resources and fieldwork opportunities.

Responsibilities
  • Teach Geography up to GCSE and KS3 RE & History as required.
  • Inspire confidence, build team commitment, and engage and motivate students.
  • Think analytically about your work and take positive action to improve pupils’ learning.
  • Encourage high standards of academic and personal achievement.
  • Act as a positive role model for students.
  • Contribute to the policies and aspirations of the school and Geography department.
