The Distribution Supervisor 1st Shift is responsible for leading the day-to-day operations and developing their team of associates for fast-paced daily distribution operations. The supervisor analyzes and implements distribution strategies to support customer expectations, including on-time delivery, quality, productivity, and various other key performance indicators for the functional areas. They will develop, lead and implement process improvement projects; and practices Lean and Six Sigma principles to achieve established goals and objectives.

This position reports to the Operations Manager and is part of the Distribution Center located in Hebron, KY and will be on-site.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

* Coordinate with other Supervisors to build and execute productivity plans by reviewing work volume forecasts, determining productivity requirements, and partnering to balance labor across the facility.

* Communicate policies to associates reinforcing adherence of the team to consistent compliance, taking corrective action when required

* Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction in a Lean environment.

* Perform root cause analysis to facilitate problem-solving and process improvement/lean initiatives to facilitate logical solutions.

* Manage and provide performance feedback and development opportunities to direct reports including monthly 1-on-1 meetings with associates.

The essential requirements of the job include:

* High School Diploma with 8+ yrs experience, Bachelors with 5+yrs, or Masters with 3+ yrs experience

* 2+ years experience leading a team in a warehouse environment.

* Experience with a Warehouse Management System (WMS), preferably Oracle

* Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office applications

* Lean/Six Sigma/Continuous Improvement Experience.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

* A fast-paced operations site with multiple shifts

* International shipping processes
