Job Description

We are in search of a Part-Time
Breakfast Attendant to join our team at Holiday Inn Express Heber. This position requires dedication to providing excellent service and creating a welcoming breakfast experience for guests. As a Breakfast Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring the breakfast area is prepared, maintained, and cleaned efficiently. You must be detail-oriented, have a positive attitude, and be comfortable working early hours to ensure guests start their day off right.

Key Responsibilities
  • Arrive at 5:30 a.m. to begin setting up the breakfast area, including replenishing food items and ensuring everything is organized and presentable.
  • Monitor and maintain the buffet during guest breakfast hours (6:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.), ensuring food items are fresh and properly stocked.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, assisting guests with any breakfast-related inquiries or special requests.
  • Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of the breakfast area, including tables, seating, and all serving stations.
  • Follow food safety guidelines and adhere to hotel policies, including maintaining cleanliness and proper sanitation procedures.
  • Ensure all breakfast equipment is functioning correctly, reporting any issues to management.
  • Clear tables, reset for new guests, and maintain a clean and inviting atmosphere throughout breakfast hours.
  • Clean and sanitize the breakfast area after breakfast service ends, completing all tasks before the shift concludes.
  • Handle guest feedback and concerns professionally and elevate to management when necessary.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred.
  • Ability to work early mornings, including weekends, with a flexible schedule (2-4 days a week).
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time and perform light physical tasks, including lifting and moving supplies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • Ability to work efficiently and calmly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • A positive attitude and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
Schedule
  • Breakfast hours are from 6:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. with shift starting at 5:30 a.m. and ending when all tasks are completed.
