We are a general contracting and development company focused on residential, multi‑family, and light commercial projects throughout Utah. The Construction Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for residential and commercial construction projects. This role works closely with ownership, project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors to ensure budgets are realistic, competitive, and profitable. This is a high‑impact role directly tied to company growth.

• Prepare detailed takeoffs and cost estimates from plans and specifications
• Develop conceptual budgets and preliminary pricing for land acquisitions and new developments
• Solicit, analyze, and level subcontractor bids
• Build and maintain cost databases and historical pricing models
• Identify value engineering opportunities
• Assist with schedule development and sequencing input
• Work with project managers to track estimated vs. actual costs
• Participate in bid reviews and project handoffs

• Some experience in construction estimating preferred (residential or commercial preferred)
• Understanding of Utah construction costs and subcontractors preferred
• Experience with takeoff software (Plan Swift, Bluebeam, STACK, or similar) preferred but we are willing to provide training
• Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, cost breakdowns, formulas) preferred
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural plans preferred
• Strong communication skills are important
• Organized, self‑motivated, and detail‑driven
