A recruitment agency is seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter for a short-term contract in a shipyard environment located in Hebburn, UK. The ideal candidate will have proven mechanical fitting experience, preferably with shipyard expertise related to valves and thrusters. Candidates should hold an NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Fitting or equivalent.
This role offers competitive pay rates of £22 per hour with overtime options, starting from January 2026. Local candidates are preferred, with no accommodation provided.
