full-time Nissan Automotive Technician/Mechanic (minimum C-Level Technician experience with Nissan or similar import brands) with motivation to continue training and ASE certifications for a successful career. As an Automotive Service Technician, you are central to our relationship with customers by maintaining and repairing their vehicles. You diagnose mechanical problems, clearly explain options, and perform the agreed-upon repairs. You provide regular maintenance services to keep vehicles in top condition and deliver legendary customer service. You will have opportunities to work on a variety of makes and to earn additional certifications while building a real career.

Automotive Technology, Vocational/Trade Certificate, High School Diploma or equivalent. Thorough knowledge of automotive parts and systems. Demonstrable mechanical skills and knowledge. Technical training or commensurate technical experience required.

• Valid Driver's License
• Certified/senior technician with Nissan manufacturer or with imports
• Meets and/or exceeds manufacturer requirements for ASE tests
• Completed manufacturer training to perform warranty repairs/recalls on most vehicles, PDIs, maintenance, and minor repairs

• Basic computer skills to utilize timekeeping system
• Ability to learn parts department computer inventory and ordering system

• Ability to understand and follow instructions
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and company personnel

• The position requires regular and predictable attendance in-person at an automotive dealership. Typical schedule is 5 days per week with rotating Saturdays; holidays may apply. Service departments are closed on Sundays and close by 6 p.m. on weekdays.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Regularly required to talk, hear, stand, walk, use hands, reach, and maneuver in various positions. May be exposed to loud noise, vibration, exhaust fumes, and other service conditions. Interaction with customers, service advisors, and the service manager occurs frequently.

  Ability to apply common sense and follow technical manuals
