QC Testing Technician

An established manufacturer operating within advanced materials and high-performance engineering is seeking a QC Testing Technician to support quality control of manufactured and incoming materials. This role is key in ensuring compliance with quality, environmental, and health & safety standards, supporting batch release testing, and maintaining robust documentation across production processes. The QC Testing Technician will work closely with the Quality and Production teams to maintain traceability, implement procedures, and drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities:

Undertake Quality Control testing of manufactured products and incoming materials.

Maintain QC databases and records to ensure full part traceability.

Support batch release testing and maintain KPI reporting.

Assist with generation, implementation, and maintenance of internal documentation and new test methods/programmes.

Support root cause analysis and preventive/corrective actions for non-conformance reports (NCRs).

Ensure work areas and equipment are maintained appropriately.

Provide cover within the Quality Department during absence/holidays.

Ensure compliance with BS EN 9100, BS EN ISO 14001, and BS EN ISO 45001 in all areas of responsibility.

Requirements:

Previous experience in inspection or quality control environments.

High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.

Experience with composites and test equipment is advantageous.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.

Strong time management, communication, and teamwork skills.

Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
