Dental Hygienist

This is a full-time, on-site role as a Dental Hygienist at our location in Hazel Park, MI. The Dental Hygienist will perform professional dental hygiene services such as teeth cleaning, oral health education, and preventive treatment. Responsibilities include assessing oral health, taking X-rays, assisting with dental procedures, and maintaining accurate patient records. The individual will work closely with dental and healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standard of care for our patients.

• Proficiency in dental hygiene practices including teeth cleaning, periodontal therapy, and application of sealants/fluoride
• Experience in taking and interpreting dental X-rays and maintaining patient records
• Strong communication skills for patient education and collaboration with team members
• Familiarity with infection control procedures and compliance with safety protocols
• Current licensure as a Dental Hygienist in the state of Michigan
• Commitment to providing inclusive and culturally competent care
• CPR certification is required
• Previous experience working with diverse patient populations, especially within LGBTQ-focused care, is preferred
