Our Material Handling Division, which spans across MiJack RTG cranes, Broderson industrial cranes, Lift King forklifts, and Greenfield equipment, is hiring a Chief Engineer PAT.

In this role, you will support Greenfield Products, LLC, a leading manufacturer of a wide range of material handling solutions including crane and rigging accessories, forklift attachments, and port & rail equipment.

As Chief Engineer, you will work within the engineering team on projects based on new product, existing, and prototype designs. You will develop new or improved products, processes, and techniques, while keeping modularity across product lines as appropriate. You will ensure project designs hold to the latest codes and standards, focus on machine performance, reliability, safety, and standardization across product lines, and collaborate effectively with internal and external customers.

• Plan, conceptualize, and create mechanical designs for new and existing products.
• Evaluate mechanical and structural systems such as machine structures, winches/gearboxes, motors, sheaves, drums, enclosures, and operator’s cab.
• Evaluate tolerance stack up for new or existing designs and河县 class fits for the application.
• Prepare component and system drawings (layouts, assemblies, installation drawings).
• Draft component and system drawings, annotating with dimensions, surface finishes, weld specifications (AWS D14.1 or D1.1), and tolerance fits for manufacturing and machine assemblies.
• Mentor other engineers by providing guidance, feedback, and support within the team and other engineering groups.
• Perform and review engineering calculations to support the project design, checking drawings for completeness and providing feedback.
• Collaborate with all machine system development groups in the company and work with vendors/contractors.
• Participate in departmental meetings, provide technical specifications and reports, and communicate updates, new ideas, changes, or issues.

• Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations, policies, and procedures aiming for zero incidents and injuries.
• Communicate consistently on all activities to appropriate internal and external individuals.
• Maintain ongoing communication and adhere to all company-wide policies to eliminate or reduce exposure to liability.
• Take on special projects or work as assigned.

• Self‑motivated, able to work with minimal supervision in a team cabello environment.
• Detail oriented and able to follow customers’ specifications and apply industry codes and standards.
• Able to work  structured 3‑D environment. 2‑D design a plus. Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, and Solid Works are a plus.
• Strong knowledge in reviewing industry codes and standard compliance.
• Excellent mechanical design skills and understanding of part production processes—burned, cut/saw, machined, formed, weldments, sheet metal, castings, and forgings.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and structural connections—bolted, pinned, or welded.
• Working knowledge of bill‑of‑material management on drawings
