📋 Job Summary – Stepdown / PCU RN
Unit Details
• Unit: 34-Bed Stepdown / PCU (Progressive Care Unit)
• Patient Ratio: 1 Nurse : 5 Patients (may change depending on census)
Experience & Certifications
•
Experience:
Minimum 2+ years of current Stepdown/PCU experience
• Certifications
Required:
- BLS – Basic Life Support
- ACLS – Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
- NIH – NIH Stroke Scale
License Requirement
• Must have Kentucky RN License or Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) License
System & Training
• EMR: MEDITECH
• Orientation:
Bi-weekly orientation schedule
Schedule
• Pay Period: 2 weeks
•
Hours:
36 hours Weekhours Week 2
Additional Requirements
• COVID-19 Vaccine required or approved Appalachian Regional Healthcare exemption
• Assignment confirmation must be uploaded within 24 hours after offer acceptance
