• Active RN license
• Degree from an accredited nursing program
• BLS certification
• At least 18 months of recent experience in an Acute Care PACU setting
• Additional requirements as determined by the client facility

• Assess patient needs and signs indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes.
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data from healthcare members and document nursing diagnoses.
• Document the patient’s plan of care using identified nursing diagnoses, expected outcomes, and selected interventions.
• Initiate and evaluate patient and/or family education.
• Revise and document the plan of care according to evaluations, changes in the medical plan, and effective/ineffective nursing interventions.
