Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a night shift position requiring a KY or compact RN license and strong critical care skills.

• Position is in the ICU department within a hospital setting
• Critical care patient population with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:30
• Schedule consists of 36 hours one week and 48 hours the next week on a rotating basis
• Assignment length is 13 weeks
• Experience with the Meditech EMR is necessary
• Bi-weekly orientation is provided
• Professional attire or scrubs as required by unit policy
• Team-oriented environment with travel pairs not permitted except in special unit circumstances
• Assignment does not accept candidates who wish to be submitted to multiple jobs simultaneously

• Active KY or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years recent ICU or MICU experience
• Current certifications in BLS and ACLS (AHA only) required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Must live at least 100 miles from the facility—no local candidates accepted
• Driver's license required for consideration
