Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an ICU RN with at least 2 years of ICU or MICU experience, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications, and a KY or compact RN license.

• Work in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) providing care for critical adult patients
• Patient ratio is 1:2
• Utilizes Meditech EMR system
• Day shift schedule from 07:00 to 19:30
• 36/48 hour weekly rotation, alternating between 36 and 48 hours per week
• Bi-weekly orientation provided
• Perform advanced critical care nursing duties for ICU patients
• First-time travelers are not specified as eligible or ineligible
• No local candidates accepted due to radius rule
• Travel pairs are generally not allowed
• Updated certifications and license verification may be required during extensions

• Active KY or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years ICU or MICU experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (AHA only)
• Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to be considered
• Driver's license required
