IT EDU Solutions Team Lead

Overview

IT EDU Solutions team lead is responsibility for coordinating their resources to contribute to the assessment, development, delivery, and coordination of technology training through their regional teams. The goal is to create, maintain and deliver standardized training materials through various methods to assure optimization of the electronic health record. The IT EDU solutions team may participate in workflow development and testing of new and updated workflows.

Works closely with IT leadership and application teams to develop training content and have a thorough understanding of the workflows. Works closely with the Learning Management System administrator to provide oversight of the training rooms, schedule, and the equipment. Proactively monitors key workflows to improve documentation, quality of care and patient safety.

Team Lead for Cumberland Valley (Onsite Position)

• Contributes to the ongoing assessment, feedback, coaching, and development for team members.
• Contributes to maintaining the department resources and activities within budget.
• Makes recommendations of KPIs for monitoring and identifying optimization opportunities.
• Develops collaborative partnerships within IT across ARH and especially in their region.
• Coordinates activities for all aspects of EHR technology training for new and current employees and providers in their region.
• Ensures Seed education is maintained and up to date.
• Updates, standardized and maintains all required training materials.
• Assures team members are trained on peripheral devices and equipment required to do their job effectively.
• Assures all updates are communicated to super users, end users & providers.
• Assures IT EDU solutions team works with departments and individual team members to proactively improve efficiency & increase functionality within the system.
• Works with the LMS administrator to schedule Seed training, uploads attendance & competency scores into Seed.
• Ensures all competency exams are provided to the team member’s manager.
• Encourages the team members to work closely with Network Coordinator to troubleshoot devices, peripherals and programs.
• Provides training and go live support for new facilities & services.
• Travels between facilities to coordinate education classes.

Minimum of Associates Degree in related clinical area or equivalent training experience and/or electronic health record experience.

Minimum of two (2) years of clinical or equivalent experience in a health care environment. Experience in healthcare information systems preferred.

• MS Office experience/ability preferred.
• Must be able to communicate with users of all disciplines and across various levels within the organization.
• Must be able to handle multiple deadlines and project demands.
