Propane Bobtail Driver

Overview

The Propane Bobtail Driver delivers propane safely and timely to customers. Responsibilities include loading and unloading propane, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining high safety standards in delivery and handling. This is a full-time position available as year-round or seasonal depending on candidate availability and business needs.

• Transfer, collect, load, and deliver propane product to and from containers (bulk truck tanks and/or cylinders).
• Monitor and track the transfer of propane inventory and tank levels; accurately record and print delivery tickets for customers and for products delivered.
• Accurately complete and submit daily driver reports; report any mechanical issues to the Fleet Manager/Dispatcher.
• Conduct pre- and post-vehicle inspections and, if applicable, document site inspections and visual tank conditions; coordinate with the Dispatcher for routing and scheduling information.
• Notify the dispatcher of any product, customer, routing, scheduling, or safety issues and obtain guidance on resolution.
• May be required to work overtime hours when business needs require.

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Minimum of 1 year delivery driver experience preferred.
• CDL Class A or B;
  Tanker and Hazmat endorsement preferred.
• Current DOT medical certification.
• Legal authorization to work in the US. We do not sponsor employment visas now or in the future.
• Compensation: hourly rate $30.00 - $32.00; sign-on bonus of $2,500.
