Delivery Driver

Overview

Job Summary The Delivery Driver is responsible for operating and maintaining a business-owned vehicle in addition to performing remote delivery of retail goods. The Delivery Driver is concerned about delivering goods and merchandise in a safe and timely manner. This position may work as a part of a delivery team to ensure that goods are properly packaged, loaded and safely reach their destination.

The Delivery Driver should be able to provide a clean driving record and is committed to adhering to company policy and safety practices.

• Daily inspections of delivery vehicles for maintenance or service needs.
• Loading, transporting, and delivering goods and merchandise to their destination
• Reviewing shipments before and after delivery to ensure accuracy and completion
• Ensure proper handling and storage of cannabis products during transit to maintain quality and compliance.
• Verify customer identification and age to ensure legal sale and delivery of cannabis products (21+).
• Provide excellent customer service, answering basic product questions and representing the dispensary professionally.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, including customer signatures, product details, and any required METRC tracking documentation.
• Follow assigned delivery routes and optimize for timeliness while adhering to traffic and safety regulations.
• Report any delivery issues, discrepancies, or compliance concerns to management promptly.

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Possess and maintain valid CA driver’s license.
• Possess and maintain valid vehicle registration.
• Possess and maintain personal auto insurance.
• Possess a good driving record.
• A reliable automobile according to GOE’s auto standards.
• Strong knowledge of California traffic laws and local geography (operating knowledge of smartphone and GPS is a plus).
• Excellent customer service skills and professional demeanor when interacting with customers.
• Possess a neat and professional appearance.
• Submit to background checks including driving checks.

• $17 per hour.
• Share of daily pooled customer tips
