The Transportation Supervisor will oversee and manage the daily operations of the transportation department to ensure efficient and effective delivery of goods. This role includes coordinating transportation logistics, supervising staff, maintaining compliance with policies and regulations, and optimizing route planning to enhance service quality while minimizing costs.

• Supervise and train transportation staff to ensure high performance and adherence to policies
• Plan and coordinate daily transportation activities for optimized efficiency
• Monitor and evaluate transportation costs and seek ways to improve profitability
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local transportation regulations
• Investigate and resolve transportation-related issues and customer complaints
• Maintain performance records and prepare reports on transportation metrics
• Develop and implement transportation policies and procedures to enhance service quality

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher preferred
• 3+ years of experience in transportation or logistics management
• Proven experience in a supervisory role
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

• Strong leadership and team management abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in logistics software and transportation management systems
• Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions
• Knowledge of industry regulations and safety compliance
