Service Technician - Windows and Doors Renewal by Andersen – Hayward, CA

As a Service Technician, you would ensure that our customers are happy every day!
Your goal is to respond to on‑site window and door service requests, where you will assess, repair, and replace parts and components to ensure proper functioning.
- You like to work with your hands! You will be working on assessing, repairing, and replacing parts and components to fix any issues our customers are having with their windows.
- You're a problem solver and like to work independently! You get to troubleshoot, repair, and replace window components, door panels, and hardware, including sashes, door panels, hardware, operating mechanisms, caulking, adjusting product for better functionality, and trim replacement.
- You're a people person! Through our training program, you will learn how to provide a high level of customer service and how to provide solutions for service issues.
- You have minimum of 1 year of experience working in general maintenance.
- You have 1 year of experience performing basic home repair work, preferred.
- You are available to work Monday‑Friday. Must be available to work one Saturday per month.
- You have basic computer, including smart phone and email, and excellent time management skills.
- You have the physical ability to lift and carry products weighing up to 50 pounds, climb ladders/scaffolding, stoop, bend and walk on uneven surfaces, and have good hand dexterity.
- You have a valid driver’s license, car insurance, and a vehicle that can transport materials and tools such as a ladder and screen.
- You have the ability to perform any other duties or responsibilities deemed necessary by management.
- Competitive hourly rate starting at $24‑$26.50/hour.
- $500 Vehicle Allowance, Gas Card and Toll Tag.
