• Assumed to be assigned to one of several departments:
  Center Store, Produce, Meat/Seafood, Bakery/Deli, Janitorial, Pharmacy.
• Promote sales within the assigned department, answer customer questions, respond to requests for products, and accurately place special orders.
• Practice safe food handling procedures and maintain a clean, orderly work area free from safety hazards.
• Receive, inspect, and log products for shipment accuracy and quality; stock, rotate, and merchandise product to maintain freshness and departmental appeal.

Department specific duties:

• Center Store/Front End – Operate the check‑stand, memorize PLU codes, keep up‑to‑date with new products, order, receive, unload, stock and rotate product onto shelves and cases throughout the center store, merchandise product, and perform POS and inventory activities.
• Produce – Receive, inspect, log products, trim, wash, and wrap produce as per policy; stock, rotate, and merchandise; maintain floral area inside and outside the store; keep area and equipment clean.
• Meat/Seafood – Receive, inspect, log products; weigh, wrap/package and label for display; stock, rotate and merchandise; provide customer service at the seafood counter; take special orders for custom cuts or holiday items; may operate slicers and wrappers; keep area and equipment clean.
• Bakery/Deli – Receive, inspect, and log products; prepare, weigh, package, and label for display; stock, rotate and merchandise baked goods and deli items; take special orders for cakes and party trays; may operate ovens, proofers, slicers, and mixers; keep area and equipment clean.
• Janitorial – Maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout the store; sweep and mop sales floor, front end, back rooms, refrigerated areas; clean restrooms, break rooms, offices, shelving, cases, front‑end equipment, carts, vending machines, front of store, and parking lot; empty trash; may operate scrubbers and buffers.
• Pharmacy – Operate the pharmacy register; take prescriptions for pharmacist processing; handle completed orders; maintain cleanliness; maintain confidentiality at all times.

Duties included in all departments:

• Sweep and mop sales floor, front end, back rooms, refrigerated areas.
• May operate forklift if authorized and certified.
• May operate baler if authorized.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

$17.36 – $26.00 per hour

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Excellent customer service and communication (verbal and written) skills.
• Ability to work with a sense of urgency and self‑motivation.
• Proactive, initiative, enthusiastic, and flexible on the job.

High School Diploma (or G.E.D.) or additional job experience.

Six months of related experience.

Must be available to work a variety of required retail hours; must be at least 18 years old.

Requires standing and other physical movements frequently; requires lifting up to 40 lbs. without assistance.
