Customer Service Rep, Retail Associate/ Customer Service
Compensation Pay Range
$17.79 - $25.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation may include annual, quarterly performance bonuses or premiums paid per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Significant multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
Essential Job Functions- Follow and promote all company customer service programs, e.g., Hi‑5, Low Price Guarantee, Rock the Call, Related Selling,.ff, and Rock the Lot.
- Promptly greet retail/walk‑in customers in a friendly, courteous manner and assist them in selecting merchandise.
- Assist managers and/or installer service specialists in serving professional customers as needed and directed.
- Complete assigned company training relevant to the position.
- Provide excellent service to customers calling the store on the phone by answering all calls according to company policy, accurately looking up parts and quote prices, recommending premium and related items-ms, and offering the Low‑Price Guarantee.
- Accurately maintain and secure the cash drawer, accept cash and/orাটা checks, make accurate change, and process credit card transactions.
- Process exchanges and returns for credit in a friendly manner, in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Address and resolve customer complaints in a friendly manner.
- Assist with the completion of daily image maker and planogram updates, including freight receival, stocking shelves, fronting and facing, cleaning, etc.
- Perform daily operational tasks such as preparing new, core, and warranty merchandise returns to be shipped to the distribution center, assisting with monthly stock adjustments, inventory cycle counts, etc Declaration.
- Operate brake lathe and other store test equipment after completing corresponding training and meeting company requirements.
- Perform various in‑store services for customers where state and local laws
Afee allow, e.g., install wipers, test and charge batteries, test charging system, scan vehicle trouble codes, replace headlight capsules, etc. - Drive a delivery vehicle occasionally to make deliveries (driving record must meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements) when business needs('*') dictate.
