Overview

We are hiring immediately for a full time FOOD SERVICE UTILITY position at CSU East Bay Admin, 25800 Carlos Bee Boulevard, Hayward, CA 94542. Online applications are accepted only.

• Fixed Pay Rate: $20.75 per hour

• Previous dishwashing experience preferred.
• Valid Food Handler's card preferred.

• Maintains kitchen work areas and keeps equipment and utensils clean and orderly.
• Sweeps and mops floors to comply with safety and sanitation standards.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food prep surfaces.
• Removes trash and disposes of it in designated containers; may steam clean or hose out garbage cans.
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Assists with banquet table and front-of-house setup.
• Assists with loading/unloading and delivering supplies and products.
• Distributes supplies, utensils, and portable equipment as needed.
• Complies with sanitation and safety requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
