Overview

Study Smart Tutors is looking for enthusiastic and engaging instructors, tutors, family facilitators, and educational consultants! We work with schools, non-profits, and colleges to prepare first-gen students for college and careers. Our work includes exam preparation, professional development for school staff, family workshops, and consulting.

• Subjects to be taught:
  All subjects with focus on ELD, Reading Comprehension, Credit Recovery, and organization.
• Grades:
  9th - 12th grade
• Provide tutoring support to small and large groups of students.
• Tutors will have access to information about class assignments
• Adapt to new materials and teaching strategies
• Maintain consistent communication with Study Smart Tutors staff
• Partner with Study Smart Tutor’s Education team to provide comprehensive learning strategies to all students

• MUST hold a completed 4-year degree
• Teaching or tutoring experience is strongly desired
• In-person availability is required
• Scheduled hours:
  Must be available between Mondays through Thursdays from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM PST.
• Complete and pass a background check, which may include fingerprinting based on location.

• Paid Onboarding/ Training / Preparation / Support: $22.00 an hour
