Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership to citizens’ technical / vocational advisory committee.
  • Develop and recommend the annual division budget, oversee mechanisms for budget controls, and prepare requisitions for supplies and equipment.
  • Collaborate with appropriate administrators in developing and implementing Contract Education and Community and Continuing Education offerings.
  • Participate in accreditation activities.
  • Promote articulation with local high schools and four-year institutions in collaboration with staff.
  • Assist students with advisement on majors, employment opportunities, and instructional issues.
  • Supervise the safe use and security of facilities and equipment.
  • Maintain liaison with college offices and community agencies, including the bookstore, counselors, and Student Personnel Office.
  • Coordinate with marketing personnel to promote division programs and services.
  • Provide data and support for applications for funding, seek new funding sources, and administer related grants.
  • Supervise college operations during assigned times, including occasional evening or weekend shifts.

    Minimum

    Education and Experience:

    Master’s degree from an accredited institution and one year of relevant leadership or internship experience.

    Additional Requirements:
