Fieldwork Supervisor Pool AY 25-26:
Department of Teacher Education

California State University – East Bay invites applications for the Fieldwork Supervisor Pool AY 25-26 position. This part‑time faculty appointment supports the Department of Teacher Education’s mission to prepare diverse teachers.

• Conduct in‑person and electronic visits to East Bay school sites to observe students during fieldwork in preschool through 12th grade settings.
• Document supervision assessments for each candidate using California Teaching Standards.
• Attend virtual supervisor meetings and maintain knowledge of effective supervision approaches such as cognitive coaching and adult learning theory.

• Master’s degree required.
• Credentialed or equivalent experience in educator preparation.
• Expert in the content area of the candidate being supervised and recent experience in school settings that reflect California’s student diversity.
• Knowledge of the program curriculum, assessments, and the edTPA model.
