Job Description
Unitek-Hayward offers diploma level programs in Vocational Nursing and Medical Assisting. Our online catalog includes Associates in Nursing (Bridge) and Medical Office Administration. The Admissions department follows a consultative sales process with prospective students. Most duties involve contacting potential students who have expressed interest in enrolling, scheduling interviews, and collecting application documents.
Job responsibilities include:
Pay Range: $28 - $34 depending on experience within Admissions
Qualifications
The successful candidate MUST have:
- A proactive demeanor
- Excellent listening skills
- Passion for higher education
- Energy and organizational skills for maintaining contact with multiple students weekly
- Dependability in attendance and following instructions
Preferred qualifications include:
- Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of successful work experience in Sales
- Extensive training will be provided on campus
- Minimum 2 years customer service, telemarketing or sales experience (including admissions)
- Demonstrated ability to fulfill company key behaviors
- Excellent presentation skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite:
Word, Excel, Outlook - Flexible hours to complete weekly job requirements
