Job Description
Unitek-Hayward offers diploma level programs in Vocational Nursing and Medical Assisting. Our online catalog includes Associates in Nursing (Bridge) and Medical Office Administration. The Admissions department follows a consultative sales process with prospective students. Most duties involve contacting potential students who have expressed interest in enrolling, scheduling interviews, and collecting application documents.

Job responsibilities include:

  • Responding to inquiries from potential students
  • Making outbound calls to gauge interest and schedule interviews
  • Presenting career planning options during interviews
  • Following up with interested students and collecting documents
  • Documenting contact in student information database (Nexus/Campus Vue)
  • Pay Range: $28 - $34 depending on experience within Admissions

    Qualifications
    The successful candidate MUST have:

    • A proactive demeanor
    • Excellent listening skills
    • Passion for higher education
    • Energy and organizational skills for maintaining contact with multiple students weekly
    • Dependability in attendance and following instructions

    Preferred qualifications include:

    • Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of successful work experience in Sales
    • Extensive training will be provided on campus
    • Minimum 2 years customer service, telemarketing or sales experience (including admissions)
    • Demonstrated ability to fulfill company key behaviors
    • Excellent presentation skills
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite:
      Word, Excel, Outlook
    • Flexible hours to complete weekly job requirements
