Hayward Wellness Center, part of Alameda Health System, is an outpatient center serving a diverse patient population in Hayward, CA. Job Summary
:
Under supervision, provides professional medical services to patients at Alameda Health System hospitals and clinics. Assists in the administrative and professional leadership of a medical specialty service. Offers consultative services in their specialty. May serve as an assistant to the chief of a specialty service and, when assigned, may relieve the chief in their absence. May directly supervise Physician I level staff.
Performs related duties as required.

Qualifications:
Minimum Experience
:
Completion of an approved residency in an appropriate specialty.
Required Licenses/Certifications: CPI-Crisis Prevention Intervention Training (required for all positions at John George Psychiatric Pavilion and certain Emergency Department roles);
Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association, PALS, or ACLS; valid DEA Number.
Additional Licensing Requirements
:
Possession of a current valid medical license in California, and Board Certification or eligibility in the relevant specialty. Board Certification must be achieved within three years of hire. Applicants with a California Postgraduate Training License may apply but must hold a valid California medical license to begin work.
