Tax Associate – responsible for preparing and reviewing individual and business tax returns while providing client support and contributing to business growth.

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face‑to‑face and via virtual tools (video, phone, chat, email).
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
• Provide clients with IRS support.
• Collaborate with the office to support priorities and teamwork.
• Grow your tax expertise and keep current on tax law changes.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• Previous experience in a customer service or retail environment.
• Experience working in a fast‑paced, supportive environment.
• Must be able to work a minimum of 25‑35 hours weekly during tax season and up to 40 hours during peak weeks.
• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course.
• Experience with virtual tools (video, phone, chat) and effective communication in person, via phone and in writing.
• Must meet all IRS and applicable state requirements.
• High school diploma/equivalent or higher.

Pay Range: $11.00 – $27.00 per hour. Local minimum wage laws apply.
