Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN with a KS or compact license and Meditech proficiency for a night shift assignment.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of an acute care hospital

• Level 3 trauma setting with a total of 149 staffed beds

• Night shifts consisting of four 12-hour shifts per week, 19::00

• Weekend rotation required

• Floating within scope to meet facility needs may be required

• Uses Meditech for charting; prior experience required

• First-time travelers will be considered

• RTO (requested time off) must be approved and documented prior to assignment start

• No block scheduling beyond 3 or 4 consecutive shifts will be accommodated

• 60-mile radius rule applies for local candidate eligibility

• No call requirements

• Any scrub color may be worn; specialized scrubs provided for OR, L&D, and Cath Lab

• Free parking available on site

Requirements

• Active KS or compact RN license required at time of application

• Minimum of 1 year ICU experience with ability to start IVs

• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required

• Meditech charting experience required

• Two professional references required for consideration

• Pending licenses are not accepted
