Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position requiring a KS or compact license, ACLS and BLS certification, and at least one year of experience with IV starts.
Responsibilities- Work in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) within an acute care hospital
- Patient ratios are 1:4-5
- Level 3 Trauma environment
- Day shift, 4x12 hours (7:00-19:00)
- Weekend rotation required
- No on-call responsibilities
- Floating required within scope to meet facility needs
- Uses Meditech charting and prior experience is required
- Scrub color is flexible except OR, L&D, and Cath Lab scrubs which are provided
- Free parking is available onsite
- Work in a 149-bed team environment
- Any requested time off must be approved and documented prior to assignment start
- First-time travelers are encouraged to apply
- Active KS or compact RN license required at the time of application
- Minimum of 1 year of PCU experience required with IV start competence
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications are required
- Meditech charting experience required
- Two professional references needed for consideration
- Candidates must reside outside a 60-mile radius from the facility
- Pending licenses not accepted
