Howyou’ll contribute
Under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, the Physical Therapist Assistant provides physical therapy services to patients needing to develop, recover and maintain physical mobility/function.

Director of Physical Therapy
What a PTA in this role looks like
- Implements treatment plan developed by supervising therapist using appropriate modalities. Seeks consultation as necessary.
- Monitors patient’s responses to the treatment plan.
- Regularly communicates patient progress and possible goal revisions to the physical therapist.
- Documents services provided and patient response/progress.
- Educates the patient and family/caregiver about patient deficits.
- Assists with patient discharge planning.
- Provides information regarding appropriate selection/use of adaptive equipment and community support programs.
What we’re looking for a licensed physical therapy assistant that is looking to make a positive impact in their community.
Applicants should have an associate’s degree/graduate of a physical therapy assistant program. Additional requirements include:
- Active and valid Physical Therapy Assistant license in the state of Kansas
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
