Plant Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Plant Maintenance Engineer to join our landing gear MRO facility. You will provide mechanical maintenance and electrical support, ensuring all equipment and facility areas are maintained to high standards for optimal operational efficiency and safety.

Key Responsibilities
Maintain and repair equipment and facility areas, identifying and resolving faults.
Carry out daily machine and equipment checks, including statutory inspections.
Work shifts and provide out-of-hours call-in support as required.
Identify and order spares proactively.
Follow environmental and safety procedures.

Education & Qualifications
Mechanical or electrical qualification preferred.
Engineering apprenticeship desirable but not essential.

Experience & Skills
Extensive experience in plant maintenance or similar role.
Mechanical and/or electrical background.
Knowledge of pumps, motors, pipework (PVC), and general plant systems.

Experience with gas ovens, chiller units, rectifiers, air handling units, or air conditioning is advantageous.
Comfortable working at heights.

Personal Qualities
Able to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
Works safely with tools and equipment.
Works well under pressure with minimal supervision.
Able to manage contractors and work on a COMAH site.
Flexible with working hours, including occasional overtime and weekends.

Must have the full right to live and work in the UK.

Shift: Double days (Monday to Friday)
Week 1 6am - 2pm
Week 2: 2pm - 10pm

Pay:
From £29,900 + Shift allowance (£3,920)
