The Role – SEN Teaching Assistant

Looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils aged 7–19 with moderate to severe and complex learning needs, including autism and communication difficulties. You will work closely with class teachers to deliver tailored learning activities, support communication, behaviour and help pupils access the curriculum. Duties include providing 1:1 and small-group support, fostering positive behaviour, assisting with personal care and transitions and contributing to a calm, inclusive classroom environment.

Experience with SEN or complex needs is essential, along with patience, strong communication skills, and a positive, flexible approach to working with young people.
