Class A CDL Delivery Driver

Watkins Distributing is a family owned and operated beverage distribution company that has serviced Idaho and Montana for four generations.

The delivery driver will be responsible for local delivery activities within a defined territory. The work schedule is 4, 10 hour days.

• Complete a pre-trip vehicle inspection
• Drive assigned route, delivering beer in a safe, timely, and professional manner
• Unload product from trailer using a pallet jack and/or hand truck
• Check product in with store personnel
• Fill all cooler space, shelf space, and displays at the time of delivery
• Pick up empty keg shells, damaged items, or mis-ordered product for credit
• Collect on invoices and complete detailed route paperwork daily
• Rotate all product according to company standards
• Be courteous to customers and their employees at all times
• Communicate effectively with sales reps
• Performs other related duties as assigned

• Valid driver’s license and no major driving violations
• Must be able to lift 25-35lbs regularly, and 160lbs to waist level

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Class-A CDL license, and medical card
• Must be able to navigate with a hand truck full of product
• Ability to utilize standard hand-held computer input/output devices
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment DOT drug test
