Description: Our client in Coeur d’Alene, , a leader in advanced composite manufacturing for aerospace and defense, is seeking a Value Stream Manager that will lead operations within their aerospace composites division. This role drives production performance, quality, and efficiency using Lean Manufacturing principles to deliver superior results for customers and the business. Interested? Please read on!

• $65,000 – $90,000 Annually DOE

• Oversee the full production process for an assigned product line, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean tools such as 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Kanban, and Just-in-Time production.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to improve workflow and eliminate waste.
• Manage ERP accuracy and integrity across work orders, BOMs, routers, labor tracking, and quality records.
• Monitor KPIs, analyze performance, and implement data-driven solutions to improve productivity and reduce costs.
• Develop and mentor team members to foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven leadership experience in aerospace or defense manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and ERP systems.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel);
  Six Sigma experience a plus.
