About Us
Metro Testing+Engineering is one of the largest providers of construction materials testing services in Western Canada with 10 offices in BC and 1 in Edmonton. We have been servicing the construction industry since 1987.
Position SummaryWe are looking to hire experienced materials testing technicians to work as Team Lead, Project Lead and Project Manager for next season. The target start date is March, 2026.
Requirements- 3-5 years of experience in Materials Testing (Concrete/Soils)
- Experience in providing leadership and mentorship to junior technician
- Experience in project coordination
- Experience in business development and proposal writing
- Driver’s license
- Work along side with junior technicians in the field
- Conduct field testing for concrete and soil.
- Assist estimator in developing proposals and bids
- Calibrate and maintain testing equipment
- Maintain accurate records, calculations, and prepare reports
- Build relationship with the site personnel
- Depending on your experience, starting wage will be between $25 - 28/hr
- Ongoing training and mentorship
- Benefits and RRSP after 3 months for full time permanent roles
- Mileage reimbursement
