Responsibilities:
- Oversee the general ledger, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled.
- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes to deliver timely and precise financial results.
- Coordinate and support both internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Assist in the preparation and management of budgets and forecasts to support organizational planning.
- Develop financial models to analyze data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
- Prepare and review consolidated financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Create detailed financial reports and dashboards for senior management, accompanied by performance analysis.
- Identify opportunities to enhance accounting processes and implement improvements to promote efficiency.
- Participate in tax preparation and compliance activities, including federal, state, and payroll tax filings.
- Handle special projects and additional tasks as assigned by the Controller. Requirements - A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required; a master's degree is preferred.
- At least 5-10 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within the manufacturing industry.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and data visualization.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- CPA or CMA certification is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with accounting software, particularly Axis, is preferred.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently or as part of a team.
