All about Style: A team of consultants who meet guests where they are and deliver through strong operations, guest experience and compelling visual merchandising presentations that inspire guests and build the basket. A Style Consultant is passionate about strong operations and providing an incredible guest experience, bringing the energy of style to life with in-store presentations that enable quick and easy self-discovery.

Style Consultants welcome and assist guests on the sales floor and in the fitting room, ensuring the floor is set with the right product, accurately priced and signed with the right sizes, styles, and colors.

Target emphasizes meaningful experiences that help team members build and develop skills for a career. The role provides skills in guest service, retail fundamentals, industry trends, and visual merchandising.

• Drive sales and deliver a guest-ready floor by executing visual standards, inspirational and promotional signing, and staying knowledgeable on assortment and brand offerings to assist guests as needed.
• Use store tools to understand sales, inventory ownership, and support guest needs.
• Sort truck freight, move freight to the sales floor, and locate merchandise in the backroom as needed.
• Set visual presentations and merchandising guides to support guest experience and sales.
• Maintain product availability and a full floor by executing priority fittings, fills, and merchandising to capacity.
• Execute and maintain backroom organization, locating merchandise to support replenishment, fulfillment, and guest requests.
• Remerchandise presentations as they sell through to deliver an inspiring shopping experience.
• Support price changes through clearance merchandising and signing.
• Maintain and use the fitting rooms to welcome, inspire, and help guests.
• Support fulfillment and guest needs by moving merchandise from fitting rooms and guest services back to the sales floor throughout the day.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance; work safely and report hazards.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick up and Drive-up, and comply with applicable laws.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete tasks and engage with them to solve their needs.
• Thank guests and acknowledge their choice to shop Target.
• All other duties based on business needs.

• You enjoy interacting and helping others and work well with guests and team members.

• Open to flexible work schedules with varying hours, days or shifts (including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak times).
• Strong interest and knowledge of apparel products and accessories; welcoming attitude toward guests and team members.
• Ability to communicate using multiple devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology as directed.
• Effective communication and ability to work independently or as part of a team; resolve guest questions quickly; stay focused in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Accurately handle cash register operations as needed; climb ladders; safely handle and move merchandise (up to 15 pounds regularly and up to 44 pounds occasionally); flexible schedule and reliable attendance; ability to work in varying temperatures and environments; remain mobile for shift duration.
