Impactful Administrative & Programs Volunteer

Lift Career Resource Center is a nonprofit organization that enhances the lives of young adults who are aging out of the foster care system with career services, life skills, and community resources.

Volunteers provide clerical and/or administrative support to the Executive Team.

Assist executive staff in developing training courses and communicate information regarding educational programs to foster care youth, and provide administrative support.

Provide support to LIFT through transporting products, services, and other materials on behalf of the executive team.

Conduct LIFT training workshops for mentees and revise/develop training curriculum for young adults participating in our programs.

Volunteers provide assistance to the Executive Team at planning events, such as fundraisers, social events, partnership meetings, etc.

Serve on a committee to plan fundraising events for the purpose of generating revenue for the non‑profit.

Promote marketing campaigns for special networking events, and provide assistance to update and/or maintain the non‑profit’s social media plan including its website.

Volunteers and mentors are a critical component of programming and assist the organization in many ways.

Lift Career Resource Center, Inc. is a federally registered 501(c)(3) non‑profit organization based in the greater Los Angeles area. Lift Career Resource Center was created to assist young people aging out of foster care by providing them with the skills necessary to live productive and fulfilling lives. Lift Career Resource Center’s vision is to make a meaningful contribution through mentorship, by providing life skills, job skills, and community resources to young adults aging out of the foster care system.
