PositionJob Title: Head of Charter Sales

As our Head of Charter Sales, you will lead and develop the charter sales function, report to the VP of Sales, and drive revenue growth for Surf Air Mobility. You are naturally aligned with the Surf Air brand and committed to supporting the company’s vision.
Responsibilities- Building and leading a team of salespeople to help drive revenue.
- Providing leadership, motivating the Sales Team to ensure quotas are met.
- Identifying and analyzing customer preferences to properly direct sales efforts.
- Reviewing and analyzing sales and operational records; using data to project sales, determine profitability and targets.
- Qualifying opportunities using our sales methodology, and helping account executives move opportunities through the pipeline to close.
- Developing strategies for new business opportunities; articulating Surf Air’s products and services to scope fit for large, complex global organizations.
- Implementing processes and procedures to streamline day-to-day functions.
- Finding opportunities to leverage existing and new technology to aid in sales.
- Coordinating with marketing on lead generation, content creation, and promotions.
- Acting as company representative at trade association meetings.
- Other duties as needed or assigned.

- Enthusiasm and a high energy level with a sense of urgency and a continuous improvement mindset; coaching and mentoring abilities.
- Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple cross-functional projects.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
- 5+ years of leadership or team management experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication and quantitative analysis skills.
- Experience in customer relationship management.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
- Strong business sense and industry expertise.
- Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills.
- Consistent track record of producing successful outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
- High adaptability and understanding of change within a startup.
- Growth mindset: ability and desire to learn and pivot skills based on business needs.
Physical Requirements
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Must have sufficient vision and ability to safely perform essential functions in a normal office environment.
- Must be able to communicate through verbal, written and electronic means.
- Must be able to access filing cabinets, drawers, and shelves of varying height.
- Must be able to move up to 25 pounds on an infrequent basis.
