Key Responsibilities
  • Follow all company SOPs at each workstation to support pharmacists in managing and improving patient health.
  • Adhere to pharmacy workflow procedures for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment across production, pick‑up, drive‑thru, and drop‑off stations.
  • Provide exceptional customer experience by offering authentic care, administering immunizations, and addressing patient needs at pick‑up, drive‑thru, and over the phone.
  • Conduct basic inventory tasks as directed, including medication deliveries, cycle counts, returns, and bin inventories.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain a high‑performing, inclusive, and resilient culture.
  • Remain flexible with scheduling, including nights, weekends, and shift coverage across stores.
  • Comply with all federal, state, and local regulations, policies, and ethical standards to ensure patient safety and privacy.
  • When permitted, deliver additional patient health services such as point‑of‑care testing and travel to off‑site clinics.
Immunization Support (When Permitted)
  • Obtain Technician Immunizer status through required licensing and training.
  • Educate patients on vaccine importance and refer questions to the on‑duty pharmacist.
  • Monitor and respond to adverse reactions, reporting events per public health requirements.
  • Collect and document patient information for each vaccination.
  • Manage vaccine supplies and inventory.
Required Qualifications
  • Compliance with state board pharmacy regulations regarding age, education, and licensure or certification.
  • A minimum of 16 years of age or as required by the state board.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, or active enrollment in high school or a high school equivalency program.
  • State‑level licensure and/or national certification as required by state regulations.
Essential Functions
  • Consistent attendance, including nights and weekends.
  • Ability to complete required training within designated timelines.
  • Attention and focus for tasks such as prescription verification, label accuracy, and patient safety.
  • Customer‑service orientation and teamwork, demonstrating friendly assistance and responsiveness.
  • Effective verbal and written communication, active listening, and the ability to convey detailed instructions.
  • Mathematical reasoning for dosage calculations and inventory management.
  • Problem‑resolution skills to handle challenging interactions and make appropriate decisions.
  • Physical demands including standing, lifting up to 20 lbs, reaching, typing, and frequent use of fingers.
  • Additional tasks as directed by the supervisor or manager.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1–3 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
  • Prior experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer‑service setting.
  • Flexibility to work in the home store and across the market to meet business needs.
Work Hours

Anticipated weekly hours: 25 hours.

Employment Type

Part‑time.

Pay Range

$19.46 – $19.46 per hour (base rate). Exact base salary will reflect experience, education, geography, and other factors.
