We are now accepting applications for a Full-Time MDS Charge Nurse. Under the direction of the Director of Nursing, the MDS Coordinator/Charge Nurse is responsible for maintaining standards of care in the facility, completing MDSs and care plans, providing coverage on the floor as the charge nurse, planning and coordinating nursing services, wound care & policy formulation. Meets with residents of the nursing home for one-on-one interviews and assessments upon admission and weekly thereafter.

Responsible for responding to CMS surveys and carrying out plans of correction. Carries out all responsibilities in alignment with MGGH Mission, Vision, and Values.

• Possess and maintain a current RN license in the State of Nevada AND
• Maintain current certification in CPR AND
• Per NRS 449 and NRS 200, successful applicant(s) must pass required state and federal background checks AND
• Experience with long term care and MDS preferred.
• Must possess or obtain in 6 months: MDS Certification in AANAC

Wage DOE.
