As a Loan Servicing Specialist I at Sky One Federal Credit Union, you will play a vital role in our dedicated Loan Servicing team. Your primary responsibility will be processing various consumer loan servicing requests with an emphasis on completeness, accuracy, and timeliness, while striving for a one‑call resolution. A key component of this role includes handling DMV‑related functions, such as processing title work, lien perfection, lien releases, and ensuring the accurate submission of DMV documentation.

You'll manage consumer loan accounts, ensure precise processing of loan payments, and deliver exceptional service to our members.

Your ability to provide prompt, courteous, and thorough assistance to both members and internal partners will be crucial as you navigate routine and non‑routine issues in consumer loan servicing. Leveraging your knowledge of lending practices, DMV procedures, workflows, systems, legal requirements, and documentation will ensure that you excel in this position, all while contributing to the mission of enhancing our members' financial experiences.

To thrive as a Loan Servicing Specialist I at Sky One Federal Credit Union, you will need a blend of strong organizational, communication, and technical skills. Proficiency in handling various software tools for processing loan payments, payment reversals, and loan advances is essential. Attention to detail is critical as you manage collateralized loans and DMV‑related tasks, including completing loan payoffs, processing title and lien releases, and ensuring accuracy in all interactions with the DMV.

Your ability to provide timely and courteous service will facilitate the resolution of loan servicing issues, strengthening relationships with our members.

You will also handle complex inquiries from insurance companies, the DMV, and other third parties, so strong problem‑solving skills are a must. Familiarity with compliance regulations such as the Bank Secrecy Act and fair lending laws is essential for ensuring adherence to required protocols. Additionally, being adaptable and willing to assist with various projects‑including DMV‑related workflow improvements‑will enhance your success in this role as you fulfill responsibilities and support team efforts effectively.

• Minimum 1-2 years direct experience in financial services and consumer loan servicing.
• Basic working knowledge of lending products and services, including secured and unsecured loans, auto loans, lines of credit, and credit cards.
• Strong understanding of loan servicing guidelines and regulatory requirements under NCUA and CFPB rules and regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
• Strong organizational skills and manages time effectively.
• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task and deal with competing priorities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• A high degree of confidentiality.
• Excellent member service skills.

Salary: $20.80 - $25.50 per hour
