This role is integral to Falcon & Dragon strategic sourcing and supply chain subject matter expertise. The focus is on eliminating risk to launch rate and establishing turnkey solutions to mass‑produce cost‑effective rockets.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Create sourcing strategies for assigned categories to reduce risk and meet targets for payment terms, cash targets, and cost savings.
- Develop and maintain key internal stakeholder relationships to create strategic sourcing models that optimize product and service value.
- Communicate, manage, and drive compliance to category strategies.
- Identify and execute cost‑reduction projects, including planning, stakeholder coordination, estimation, and updates.
- Perform advanced quantitative and business process analyses to identify financial impacts, cost improvement, and performance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define SLAs and KPIs for suppliers and measure compliance.
- Create and implement management programs to continuously improve and monitor supplier KPIs.
- Read drawings and blueprints, understanding manufacturing complexity.
- Advanced degree with 3+ years experience in purchasing, material or production planning, operations or supply chain management, or material cost control; OR bachelor’s degree with 5+ years experience; OR 9+ years experience in any of the above.
- Experience in aerospace components preferred.
- Familiarity with aerospace components and technical procurement.
- Experience with manufacturing or design of production components.
- APICS certification.
- Strong leadership and team‑building track record.
- Problem‑solving skills with a bias for speed and positive impact.
- Quick learning and prioritization to meet customer and company needs.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, customer service, and communication skills.
- Strong technical knowledge of MS Office, SQL, Power
BI. - Detail‑oriented and able to respond quickly to a fast‑moving environment.
- Highest ethical standards and integrity.
- Ability to read drawings and blueprints with manufacturing complexity.
- Travel up to 15%.
- Work extended hours and/or weekends as needed.
Pay range: $ – $ per year. Compensation includes potential long‑term incentives, stock awards, discretionary bonuses, and a stock purchase plan. Paid vacation: 3 weeks plus 10+ paid holidays per year; paid sick leave per company policy.
