Substitute Montessori Preschool Teacher

The Opportunity. We are conducting a search for a part-time substitute teacher/floater to help children fulfill their developmental potential in an authentically prepared, inspiring Montessori environment. Montessori experience is not required, but we welcome educators who have an appreciation for -- and are open to learning more about -- the method. We provide training.

Please apply if you meet the minimum requirements and are interested in joining our team.

• Completion of at least 12 college-level early childhood education credits (including at least three credits in infant/toddler care and development)
• Enjoy working with young children
• Are warm, joyful, and professional;
• Have valid CPR and first aid certification, or willingness to become CPR and first aid-certified before you begin employment;
• Have negative TB test results within the last 12 months or willingness to take a TB test which show negative results before your first day of employment; and
• Are a US citizen or green card holder.

• Have experience working in high-quality preschools, particularly Montessori preschools
• Have interest in creating experiences for young children in the areas of art, music, gardening, or science
• Speak multiple languages
