Description of RoleWe are seeking a motivated and highly experienced BIM and AI Integration Manager to work collaboratively in a team environment performing technical production of documents through all phases of architecture and landscape architecture. This person will lead the integration of design technology, building information modeling (BIM), and emerging artificial intelligence (AI) tools across the firm’s projects and workflows.
This role focuses on improving project delivery, expanding computational design capabilities, and developing innovative processes that enhance coordination, analysis, and documentation while maintaining design quality. This role includes coordinating with the project team, clients, and regulatory agencies. This position also entails researching and integrating AI technologies into the practice workflows.
You will transition into the position under the direction of our current BIM Manager.
Responsibilities- Manage BIM Projects, templates, libraries and workflows.
- Develop advanced computational methodologies, AI integration and BIM implementation.
- Evaluate latest software and AEC technologies, proposing improvements and implementation as required.
- Manage software products, subscriptions, and purchasing.
- Support and educate staff on existing and emerging technologies.
- Evaluate staff and applicant BIM level and experience.
- Suggest staffing and team structures for successful BIM project delivery.
- Strong and proven modeling skills in Autodesk Revit and Rhinoceros. Other 3D modeling and computational design software experience is an advantage.
- Proven experience within Autodesk cloud suite.
- Proven experience in developing construction documentation and delivering high-LOD BIM models.
- Proven experience in working within BIM framework and coordinate BIM models with external consultants.
- Ability to build, manage and modify customized parametric families.
- Advanced knowledge and use of visual programming tools like Grasshopper or Dynamo. Advanced knowledge of at least one generative design software is required.
- Python, C#, or other scripting language skills are an advantage.
- Ability to work with, and instruct others to use, integrated software and plugins.
- Familiarity with Google workspace.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Precision oriented, proactive and curious individual.
Salary range is $100,000 to $120,000, based on qualifications and experience. In addition to
salary, Brooks Scarpa Huber provides healthcare coverage, and after vesting, provides an
additional 3% of your annual salary in the form of a personal 401k plan each year.
