The Village of Hawthorn Woods Parks and Recreation Department is seeking part-time seasonal Camp Counselors. Counselors report to the Recreation Manager. Camp Counselors will lead Woodchuck campers in a variety of activities. Responsibilities include supervision of campers, attendance tracking, setting up, implementing, and clean-up of activities, and maintaining the safety of camp sites and activities. The standard work schedule will be Monday through Thursday from 8:45 a.m. till 12:15 p.m. Counselors may be expected to work outside this schedule.

Candidates must be 16 years of age by May 1, 2026. CPR/First Aid certification is a plus; or applicant must be willing to obtain. Applicants will be required to successfully pass a background check and drug test prior to employment.
