Irrigation Technician 2/C

Four Seasons Resorts Lāna'i invites applications for the Irrigation Technician 2/C role. This position works under the direction of a supervisor, performing operation, installation, maintenance and repair of manual, semi‑automatic, and automatic irrigation systems on our resort grounds.

Four Seasons Resort Lāna'i, located on the southeastern coast of the pristine island of Lānaʻi in Hawaii. The resort offers a curated, personalized island escape with extensive golf, beach, and cultural programming.

• Understand the complete operation of the central irrigation system.
• Check that the irrigation system operates and functions properly according to schedule and maintain records.
• Install, maintain, and repair irrigation controllers, valves, QCVs, sprinkler heads, air relief valves, and other components.
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair irrigation systems.
• Install and repair irrigation control wiring and hydraulic tubing.
• Perform supplemental or hand irrigation as necessary.
• May direct helpers and/or assigned employees.
• Level sprinkler heads, valve boxes, QCVs, drain bases, and other components to proper grade.
• Report all problems to leadership.
• Inventory all parts and materials and notify supervisor of need to order.
• Operate and maintain utility vehicles and powered equipment.
• Comprehend irrigation blueprints.
• Understand the operations of pump stations and PRVs.
• Train and/or assist in training of employees.
• Read, write, comprehend, and speak English proficiently.
• Perform work with due regard to safety of self and fellow employees, and with proper care and protection of company property.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Must have extensive experience in golf course irrigation installation and repair. Must supply own tools for the job. Possess a current State of Hawaii driver’s license and valid U.S. work authorization. English proficiency required.
