Security Officer - Academy Rover Patrol

Location: Waimanalo

Allied Universal - Up to $21.60/hour -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.;
Conduct regular and random patrols of campus buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter areas to help deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards and maintenance issues.;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation, dispatch notifications, and documenting actions taken.;
Monitor access points and common areas, verify identification and/or authorization when required, and help maintain orderly movement during events, peak class times, and special activities.;
Complete accurate reports and logs, communicate observations to site leadership and/or public resources, and support investigations by preserving information and video review requests when applicable.
